What's special about our prints? Talented artisans in India use the ancient art of block printing to create them. They hand stamp the fabric using carved wooden blocks dipped in eco-friendly dye. The mark of the artisan is left in subtle variations from piece-to-piece. No two are exactly alike. They are individual works of art.
What are Imperfect Seconds? Sometimes a piece is produced that has more block print variations than we like to offer. These items simply have more artistic marks including dye drops, stamping and color depth variations. We set them aside as "seconds” and sell them at a discounted price because they are just too lovely not to.
Artistic variations do not affect the performance of the piece that is classified as an Imperfect Second.
