Why our Table Linens are special

Artisan Prints: Talented artisans in India use the ancient art of block printing to make our textiles. They carve our designs into wooden blocks, dip the blocks in eco-friendly dye, then hand stamp the fabric. The mark of the artisan is left in subtle variations from piece-to-piece. No two are exactly alike. They are individual works of art.

Stylish Embroidery: We work with expert European embroiderers to create our coordinating pieces. They can be used on their own or mix beautifully with our prints.

The Maitland sisters started Flying Sheep Country to bring you marvelous table linens that combine the look of Indian block prints and fine European embroidery.

Flying Sheep Country is based in the US. The sisters’ British roots and time living in Westport, CT and Sydney, Australia are contributing influences to their designs.
